Problem Relevance

Did the team choose a problem that is demonstrated to be relevant to their community or today’s society? Is there any data or research provided to support the relevancy of this problem?

 

Effectiveness of Solution

Is the application developed to sufficiently tackle the indicated problem? Is the application innovative in its approach to solving the problem? Is the application unique in comparison to similar applications?

 

Application Functionality and Features

Does the application demonstrate complexity? Are the features effective, and are there any features intuitive to the identified problem that are not included? 

 

User Interface and Experience

Is the application visually appealing? Does the user experience consider accessibility? Is the interface intuitive and easy to navigate?

 

Demo/Pitch Video

Is the video well-organized, engaging, and professional? Is information about the application’s inspiration, purpose, and function conveyed in a clear manner? Is the demo easy to follow? 

 

Reflection

 

Overall, is the project presented well? Was the reflection thoughtful? Was there meaningful consideration for tools used to build the application, potential similar products, challenges overcome, and future steps? Is the reflection well-written?
